Terms of Service

Effective date: September 11, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Talevra when you use the Talevra app or website. By creating an account or posting content, you accept these terms and the Community Guidelines.

Your account

  • You must be old enough to use Talevra under the law where you live and must provide accurate sign-up information.
  • You are responsible for your account, your password and everything posted from your account.
  • Do not share your account or impersonate another person or organisation.
  • Tell us at supportalevra@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Your content stays yours

You keep full ownership of the stories, chapters, comments, images and other content you create on Talevra. Talevra does not claim ownership of your work and does not take any rights to sell, license or adapt it outside the service.

So that Talevra can actually work, you give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to host, store, back up, reproduce, format, translate at your request, and display your content within Talevra — and to show public content publicly, including in previews, search results and shared links. This permission exists only to operate and promote the service and ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies that remain in routine backups until they expire, and for content that other users are entitled to keep (for example a shared story you co-wrote, or comments in a public conversation).

You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

Prohibited content and conduct

You may not use Talevra to post or do any of the following:

  • Harassment, bullying, stalking, threats of violence or encouragement of self-harm.
  • Hate speech or attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, gender, gender identity or sexual orientation.
  • Sexual content involving minors, or any sexualisation of children — real or fictional. This results in immediate removal and permanent account termination.
  • Content that exploits, endangers or targets vulnerable people.
  • Illegal content or content that promotes illegal activity.
  • Spam, scams, mass unsolicited messaging, artificial inflation of reads or votes, and bot activity.
  • Impersonation of another person, author or organisation.
  • Plagiarism or posting work that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark.
  • Doxxing or publishing another person's private information.
  • Attempts to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or to bypass access controls, blocks or paid features.

Mature content

Stories with adult themes must be labelled as mature when you publish them. Mature stories are hidden from readers who filter mature content and are not appropriate for minors. Sexual content involving minors is never allowed regardless of labelling. Mislabelling mature work may lead to removal or restriction.

Reporting, blocking and moderation

You can report stories, messages and users from within the app, and you can block a user to stop them contacting you or interacting with your work. We review reports and may remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts when these terms or the Community Guidelines are broken. Reports are reviewed by people, not only automatically, and we may act on serious safety issues without a report.

If you believe content infringes your copyright, email supportalevra@gmail.com with a link to the content, a description of the work, and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.

Removal, restriction and termination

We may remove content, limit publishing or messaging, or close an account that breaks these terms, harms other users, or creates legal risk. Where reasonable we will explain what happened. You can stop using Talevra and delete your account at any time from Settings.

Collaboration and co-authors

  • Each co-author keeps ownership of the parts they write; collaborating does not transfer your rights to anyone, including Talevra.
  • Agree with your co-authors about credit, publishing and how the work may be used. Talevra does not arbitrate disputes between co-authors.
  • Actions such as publishing, unpublishing, deleting or restoring shared work may require approval from the other author, and both authors can see requests and approvals.
  • Do not share private drafts you were given access to outside the collaboration, and do not post another author's work in Writing Circles. Only published public stories can be shared into circles.
  • Removing a co-author's access does not delete work they already contributed.

Premium subscriptions

Talevra Premium is sold and managed through Google Play on Android. Purchases are not available on this website, and iOS purchases are not available at this time. See the Subscription, Cancellation and Refund Policy.

Availability, backups and disclaimers

Talevra is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will never be lost. Features may change or be discontinued. Please keep your own copies of drafts and stories that matter to you — Talevra autosaves and keeps versions, but it is not a substitute for your own backup.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Talevra is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost content, lost profits or lost opportunities arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When changes are material we will update the effective date and ask you to accept the new version in the app before you next post public content.

Needs owner confirmationThe governing law and the courts that would handle a dispute are not stated, because the operating entity and its country have not been confirmed. Add a governing-law clause once that is decided.
